Nearly two years into Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, GLORY TO THE HEROES shows Lévy continuing to fight against fatigued public opinion, the cynicism of chancelleries and, perhaps now more than ever, the weight of silence fallen upon Ukraine. Lévy returns to the frontlines with co-director Marc Roussel after the June 2023 destruction of the Kakhovka dam by the Russians, considered an act of unprecedented ecocide.
